Bill Capati, Dentist and Owner
Dr. Bill started Sugar Creek Family Dental in 2016. Born to Filipino parents, Dr. Bill was born in New Jersey and grew up in Decatur, Illinois. After years and years of tuition, he graduated from Southern Illinois Dental School where he met his wife, Laura, who is a practicing periodontist. Together they have 4 children from the ages of 10 to 3. Now, instead of pub trivia and sports sedans, it’s bounce houses and minivans. He is hoping to pass on his love of soccer, karaoke, and dental health to the next generation. Things he regrettably won’t pass on to his children are his fondness for the Phillies, fantasy football, and 80’s music.
Dana, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant / Office Manager
Dana has been in the dental field for almost 25 years. She lives in Hillsboro and loves the peace and quiet. She has a total of 3 children and 5 grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outside (when it’s warm), and going on vacations and to concerts. As a dental assistant, she loves helping her patients feel comfortable and knowledgeable, and making their experience a great one. Her love for her job is nearly matched by her fondness for wine.
Cindy, Lead Hygienist
Cindy has a Dental Hygiene degree from BCTC in Lexington, KY that was added to her Bachelor of Science degree from BYU. She may have found dental hygiene later in life but loves helping people enjoy coming to the dentist and encouraging better oral health. She only wishes she had found this career sooner. She is half latin and speaks Spanish fluently. She has three children, two boys and one girl and a husband of almost 20 years. She loves baking, crafting, going to early morning cycling classes at the gym, and playing video games with family members.
Jeanna, Patient Coordinator
Jeanna has been in the healthcare industry for 5 years now. Making sure patients are taken care of and smiling is important to her. Jeanna resides locally with her husband Blake. They recently celebrated their first year of marriage. Together they share a Goldendoodle named Jett. In their free time, they enjoy taking Jett to Bar K, watching the St. Louis Blues, and eating Mexican food.
Kaitlin, Dental Assistant
Kaitlin is currently in her fourth year of assisting. She has experience in general dentistry, pediatrics, and orthodontics. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know patients. In her free time she loves to hangout at home with her two dogs, Harley and Shelby, or at the gym!
Brooke, Hygienist
Brooke graduated from STLCC Forest Park in 2022. She was born and raised in St. Louis and is a big fan of the STL Blues and Cardinals. She has a chocolate lab that loves swimming and the park. Brooke has always had a passion for dentistry, just like her mom who has been a hygienist for over 30 years. Brooke’s hobbies include hanging out with friends, going to see a movie and golfing when the weather is nice.
Danielle, Hygienist
Danielle graduated from STLCC dental hygiene program in 2021. Before becoming a hygienist she was a dental assistant for 10 years. Her favorite part of her job is helping patients feel confident about their smile. Danielle’s hobbies include hanging out with friends, going on hikes, and playing with her dog Oakley.
Dani, Lead Dental Assistant
Dani graduated from STLCC Forest Park as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in 2007. Her passion has always been about taking care of patients and making sure they have a great experience every visit. Dani and her husband Ryan have been married for 15 years, have 2 daughters and a crazy boxer puppy, Rylie. In her free time she loves camping with her family in their new camper, spending time with friends and family and eating Mexican food!
